Introduce Your Child to the World of Science Through a Mad Science Birthday Party

Nov 30, 2018 12:00 AM

Mad Science are a company that provide inventive, fun and educational parties for children. Forget about the standard magicians and balloon-artists, this is something very different… and much more exciting.

What exactly is a Mad Science birthday party?

A Mad Science birthday party takes the subject of STEM and removes it from the sterile educational setting, instead making the content come alive. Children love to get involved and this is the basis from which Mad Science works.

Science literacy is as essential for modern children as being able to read, and a Mad Science birthday party builds on the natural curiosity of kids. By offering experiments and different ways to create stunning effects, the children will be both entertained and educated!

Every party lasts 45-60 minutes and is a great entertainment choice for children between the ages of 4-10 years of age. They can be held either indoors or outdoors (depending on the weather) so Mad Science is a party that works well all year round.

Is it really fun?

If you’re still having trouble imagining STEM to be a fun subject to entertain children, it’s worth taking a closer look at some of the themes and experiments which might take place.

Every Mad Science party is different so there’s no guarantee exactly what fun might occur, but some of the themes on offer include:

The Air Blast

This theme is ideal for children aged 5-8 years and starts with a bit of magic to begin with a bang. Some of the subjects explored include tornadoes, vortexes and air pressure, and there’s even a chemical meltdown!

Electricity

Suitable for children aged 5-10 years, this party is a clever exploration of light, kinetic energy and chemicals. A combination which has a real wow factor, children will be enthralled.

Reactions in Action

Suitable for slightly older children, aged 7-10 years, this party explores temperatures, glow-in-the-dark chemicals and also explosive reactions!

Superhero Science

A party aimed at children aged 5-10 years, this theme focuses on the fascination with superheroes and their powers. Manipulate electricity, use mind control to change water or fire up a rocket booster - you might see all of these on the day!

Holiday

Suitable for all children aged 5-12 years, our holiday parties are incredibly fun! Full of Jolly Experiments and adventures, your child will love learning in exciting new ways.

Book yours today

As you can see from the options above, Mad Science birthday parties really do offer sublime science-based entertainment that not only educates, but is a lot of fun for any child. In addition to the main theme, there are many more fun activities that can be included such as thermo-cups, mutating hands and bubbling potions. How to Introduce Your Toddler to the World of Science
Young children are naturally curious. They are like little sponges, absorbing any and everything that might be happening around them. This natural curiosity makes it easy to teach them almost anything, including scientific topics. However, the method of teaching pre-k age children differs from teaching methods for older children.
